 Beaucanton  Beaucanton has been created in 1935, there is now 300 inhabitants in this town. Val-Paradis Val-Paradis was founded in 1942 and there is also 300 inhabitants in Val-Paradis. Those two towns were built by colonists coming from the south of the province of Québec who came here in hope of a better life. However,
the life was not easy at this epoch. Everything was still to be done:
Cut wood, built houses, agriculture, take care of animals, etc... More recently, in september 2002, the town councils of Val-Paradis and Beaucanton got together to offer better services to the population
